New Year's Resolution (And the Coming of Cookies)
I've been a very naughty boy this year. The proof: I got three new games for my XBOX 360 this Christmas. Three! These were The Simpsons Game, Mass Effect and Eternal Sonata. Three (Three!) games that I wanted very much. Now the fact that I received these three (I'll spare you the bold echo this time around) games is not proof of my naughtiness. The fact that my console was off, again, to Microsoft for repairs is the proof. Luckily for me, it was back in my hands after only one week away from home.
Now I'll probably have a separate post to talk about those games later. I'm at work right now and playing games while on the boss' time is always a little hard. Instead, I've prepared a little New Year's resolution for my loyal readers.
I would've loved to say that 2007 was a great year for the blog, and that I was happy with the work I had done. The truth of the matter, however, is slightly different. Posts were, well, scarce. Quality of said posts wasn't always as high as I would've hoped, either. I often found myself having an idea for a new entry, and then rushing to get it done. It's strange, really, because I love blogging. Then why am I rushing to get it out of the way?
I think part of the problem is that I lack organization. I don' t have an update schedule. Not that I should have anything limiting, at least not on the upper limit. A bare minimum would be nice, though.
So, there you have it. I've said it. I am going to have an update schedule! This is my New Year's resolution to you, my reader. There will be a minimum of one (1) post every Monday and every Friday of every week. That doesn't mean there won't be any posts on Tuesdays, for example, or on Saturdays. It means, however, that there will be at least one post on those days.
I would wish you a happy New Year and all, but there's a post scheduled for Monday, so why waste a perfectly good opportunity to do it right?
Happy Boxing Week
